Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1/3 c. water, boiling hot
2 tbsp scallions greens, minced
2 tsp Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. oil
Directions:
Mix flour and water. Add more flour or cold water to dough to make kneading consistency. Knead till smooth. Let rest 15 min. Roll into cylinder and divide into 6 pieces. Flatten each to 4 inch circle. Brush with softened Crisco and sprinkle with salt & scallions. Roll into long, thin spiral and flatten it. Fold into square and flatten again. Heat oil and fry each piece until golden brown, flipping once. Add a little oil between pancakes if the oil is too depleted. (This should be similar to what you wanted.)
